Donor update: Winter 2023

DEAR FRIENDS,

As the holiday season approaches, we find ourselves reflecting on the spirit of gratitude that Thanksgiving brings. We want to express our heartfelt thanks to each of you for being an essential part of our mission.

Your commitment and generosity are the cornerstones of the Max Vincze Foundation, and together, we have the power to make a significant impact on the lives of those battling rare cancers.

Max Your Bet Poker Tournament raises $24,000!

In September, the Max Vincze Foundation hosted our inaugural Max Your Bet Poker Tournament, marking the beginning of what we hope will become an annual tradition. We were blown over by the response from our community, as friends, supporters, and
advocates gathered to make our first fundraising event a resounding success, raising an astounding $24,000!

In mid-November, The Max Vincze Foundation embarked on a transformative journey to Boston, participating in the Target Cancer Foundation: Think Tank On Advancing Precision Medicine in Rare Cancers. Precision Medicine stands on the
forefront of revolutionary advancements in cancer treatment, and we're eager to contribute our insights as patient advocates, while learning from esteemed professionals in the field. Together, our collective aim is to expedite research, enhance diagnostics, and refine treatment options for rare cancers.

Breakthroughs at Dana-Farber: NUT carcinoma research unveiled

The results of the research funded by the Max Vincze Foundation are incredibly promising. Dr. French, Dr. Luo and Dr. Shapiro presented their findings, which revealed significant progress in understanding and combatting NUT carcinoma. This
success has opened the door to the possibility of a clinical trial in the near future.
While we celebrate this achievement, we remain steadfast in our commitment to making further breakthroughs in the field. This progress is a testament to the
hard work and dedication of the researchers and to the power of your support.

End-of-year giving

As we reflect on the impactful strides made during the Max Your Bet Poker Tournament and the inspiring journey to Boston, we invite you to consider making a difference in the lives of those facing rare cancers through an end-of-year donation. Your contribution allows us to continue our vital work.

Wishing you a joyful holiday season and a New Year filled with hope, health, and generosity.

In memory of Max and with deep gratitude,

The Max Vincze Foundation
